How old/new are these forums?

Greetings all, just wondering how long these forums have existed as I have not been aware of them previously? Just stumbled upon them while searching for something else a moment ago.

Roughly how many people are members here too please?
Would anyone object to other Islanders being invited here?

And you can see how many members there are, as well as when they joined, by clicking on the Members List on the nav bar.
